How to Create a New Tool Palette in AutoCAD

To start, simply hit OK and then Apply. This will restore your tool palettes to their original settings. Next, when you apply the changes, AutoCAD will prompt you with a dialog box indicating that it will use the default tool palette directory.

Navigate to the tool palette file locations section and expand the + symbol next to it. Then, delete the path shown in that location. You can also type 'Options' or click on the command area and select 'Options' to bring up the Options dialog box as shown.
